Second time. Had a holiday lunch with work team. Ordered ribs, BBQ chicken, Mac and cheese and broccoli. It was good. The Mac and cheese was a bit runny not what I'm used to but it was good. The ribs were tender. I tried most of the sauces and they all tasted pretty much the same to me.
When I called to see if I could make a reservation I couldn't because of the holiday, no problem. Asked if there was a wait? She said she couldn't tell me over the phone? So I asked "can you tell me 15 min or an hour?, anything helpful?" She said its busy! And hung up. I've worked in food industry for 12 years. Never is that acceptable to hang up on someone. If you sccidently do it, you callback, to avoid something like this! Came in to eat, sat us right away (weren't even that busy) waitress was decent, only saw her 3 times since we sat down, looked overwhelmed with her tables. Beef brisket was disgusting! Huge lager of fat on top of it; no flavor at all. Only gave you 2 stars because the cornbread was decent, but that's it.
My wife and had an amazing experience here as the manager came out to the table which almost never happens any more. It is nice to see that this resteraunt still believes in customer service. The ribs we had were right on point as usual. We love the this place and will continue to dine at this establishment.
Very good service and food. Manager came by our table and greeted us (first time). He later checked on us and the food; left us with a sample to take home of the sauce we liked the most. Will definitely come back! Service matters...and they know it.
The server was sweet as pie... BBQ bbacks and beef brisket were lukewarm, I like potatoes in my potato salad mostly celery onions & bell pepper, ribs were far from falling off the bones and barely had any meat, not a jalapeno fan so didn't like the mac n cheese, beans too soupy and spicy hot for me, and corn muffin super duper sweet and very crumbly & brisket or sauce a lil too salty...
