I had just got off from work From red lobster Novi right across the street when I was pulled over for a broken tail light now you would think since I was a hard working citizen that had just got off work in full uniform that the officer of that community would say hey I see your working in my community Because I don't think he could have really saw me as a threat ... Hey just get your tail light fix please this man made it his mission to do everything he could to make me feel like a criminal and my life a living hell literally to where I can't even get to work to where I might have to quit my job there is no way me, you the man on a moon can keep getting stacks of unnecessary tickets to pay with no damn job duh and this would be how u go under with no recovery plan my advice would be to not even go in Novi for no business u will get pulled over for the little things that can be fix or that is not a problem in the first place and no matter how truthful you are it will get you no where
Was allowed to go on a ride along a while back. All officers were nice and professional. Even had my lunch bought by them. Very good police department.
Don't bother calling here to report anything, dispatcher is indifferent bordering on rude. Street I live on is wide open for speed, noise, you name it, poor city planning has caused horrific traffic jams a mile long or longer at peak traffic periods, people caught will detour down any street possible and usually at max speed as they attempt to circumvent the bottlenecks.
Novi PD is not out to help the victim, they made us (African American) to look like the bad guys and never took are side of things into consideration. It's complete deformation of character. They are one-sided and rude. They only report their version, which is not the truth!
They took my police report in timely manner.
