Great staff, clean and comfortable workout facilities. Had a pleasure to deal with Roland and Jeff D. so far and they were highly professional and helpful. Lifetime Novi has variety of equipment and classes. I personally like the fact that they have a steam room and a lap pool. Overall A+++
Roland Duran has helped me out tremendously. I was in the area for a short while, and had a guest pass from Evan Ensign who was an account manager a while back. Mr. Duran expediently helped me get in processed as as guest to use the facilities. I cannot speak for the trainers or other personnel within this gym, but Mr. Duran does his job well, so do not be deterred by other reviews.
NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! Do not get a membership here if you plan to use the pool with your children. They have a Byzantine system of when it is ok and when it is not ok to have your kids in the pool and the parent requirements. Some times it's ok to just let your kids play in the shallow end. Other times you have to be within 10 feet of them at all times even if they are good swimmers and passed their swim test. It doesn't make sense, the only reason I can think of for this requirement is they are NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. Parents beware.
I was a minute away from joining this gym until the guy at the front desk treated me like I was the dumbest person on the planet for not knowing I didn't have a week's pass vs a day pass. The purpose of the front desk person is to make customers feel welcome and wanted, basic customer service 101. LifeTime, you need to carefully pick the people who greet your potential customers. I have gotten far better treatment from the employees at Fitness 19 which is $10 a month!!! I will not be joining this gym at the cost of $80 a month to be treated poorly. Next!

Reading the previous reviews, I see that a lot of people are dissatisfied with their experience here. However, that doesn't mean that there are positive experiences.
Roland here is very unprofessional and bad at sales we came in today since we got an email for a free day pass and he wanted to do a tour of the facility. During the tour he is just rushing and kept telling me do you want to sign up or not I have no time and others are waiting. I know the whole sales pitch and I'm not a fool when it comes to these type of things. I would like the management here to contact me to discuss the issue today and what they could do to resolve.
