I got in there and was sat down and nobody approached us for 20 minutes, so we had to wave someone by to take our order.
When he came back by the time we were supposed to pay, he told us there was a mistake and the offer is for NEXT time, AFTER we finished our food.
Won't let me do a 1/2 star, but I would give my first visit 3.5 stars. Ordered a Soft Parade and they were out. So I asked my server about what the local IPA that was the special and she said "I don't know but it's a Detroit beer." Well, for those of us who actually care what we drink and might just want to order it again, that's really not the kind of answer I want to hear. She didn't offer to go ask, either, just either take it or leave it; otherwise the service was good, but that doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth. Please, train your staff better! My friend and I shared the avocado corn salsa and chips with my friend, it was good, but kind of skimpy portion. I ordered the vegetable pizza on whole grain and it was good. Dessert (chocolate cake) was passable, but nothing to write home about. And because she checked back often she did get over 20% tip, btw.
Even though they took lots of good options off the menu, I still like what I get here. Service was also good.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
The food wasn’t terrible but my pizza wasn’t cut and my girlfriend asked to substitute the onions for tomatoes and they put the onions on anyway.
Worst experience at CPK was at this particular location imaginable. I asked the waitress was it something my son and I wrong beside not go and wait 30 minutes for Cheese Cake Factory, trust me you better off. The staff is under trained and will bring out burnt pizza and half glasses of water and tell you the pizza is not burnt on bottom! !! Sheesh!!! Manager will offer a desert instead of bringing out proper food from the kitchen . Do not choose this location. I have been a customer of this franchise since royal oak mi opening (1995). The novi location don't even deserve 1 star! I took a picture of the burnt pizza but I don't have time to figure out how to upload it to this review. pictures are now attached. I'm pissed... my son was so hungry he didn't want me to send it back as I request we just left a basketball tournament and he's only 11 years old.
After fighting back, they manager came by and only took ONE of them off and made me pay for the other one even after I was assured they’d take care of them.
We tried the roasted garlic chicken pizza and the Italian salad. The food tasted great, and the service was prompt and attentive. If you're a pizza connoisseur, I can see how the food could seem a bit over-rated for the price. Pizzas are flavorful, but $14 for a fairly simple, small pizza seemed rather steep to me.
My advice to yall is to avoid this place like the plague, the manager is an ufty and the employee’s aren’t even trained on what deals they’re running, imagine what they could be doing to your food back there.
There’s a offer in the menu that if you sign up for the app you get a free small plate, and my girlfriend and I both signed up. The server said “Go ahead and place the orders for the small plates and we’ll take care of them”
